TLDR: I would never recommend trying these guys, try literally anyone else. Took the bike in for a standard service and a fix on a loose chain and blown bulbs which ended up including a steering head bearing kit replacement too. All seemed well. Quoted £150 and told he doesn't know how much things will cost. Two days later phoned them, was told he was working on the bike now dismissively and they were waiting for the parts. Five more days later I phone them and am told he is installing the parts now and the bike will be ready that evening. Not happy that they've had the bike a week but there you go these things happen. They charge me £220 for the privilege. Anyway I get the bike back and drive it home, things feel off, my brakes are weaker, my biting point has moved, my steering is looser and I start to even wonder if this is still my bike but think nothing more on it. Two weeks later my headlamp bulbs go again, driving home in the dark, have to call a friend for an escort home to be safe. At this point unhappy with Treen's work I take it to a different garage. Different garage has it for a day and it comes back working brilliantly again but they tell me that (after I showed them the receipt for work done) the chain was loose so can't have been tightened, the lights were wired up all wrong, wrong bulbs way too strong and a bulb socket liable to catch fire all not waterproofed as I had asked, it had also said things like "valves checked" when they hadn't been touched and the steering head bearing set is an uncertainty at best but would possibly be damaged checking if it had been done or not. So a week of work, £220 pounds paid, and I get: A replacement bulb too strong for the bike that blew in two weeks and could have caught fire. Nothing done to chain Brakes and biting point loosened Feeling like I had been harassing them each time I phoned all of twice in a week because I had received absolutely no communication from them at all. Possibly a new steering head bearing set? Uncertain, will update this if I get it checked. I left a message online to ask them what adjustments had been made, no reply. I phoned to tell them what the other garage said and got "that's wrong, bring it in and we'll fix whatever is broken" when I said I didn't trust them enough for that was told "well that's it then" and that was all. Are there worse people, yes; but I am certain there are better garages than this. Ones that ask if they keep your bike for a week and actually do the work. One star is too much.
